Payments are handled by Paddle.com Market Ltd, which acts as the merchant of record and is the seller of record for your purchase. Paddle issues your invoice and handles sales tax. Paddle's own terms apply to the payment itself.
2. What the service is
ReactionCut is a video editor that runs entirely in your browser. Your video and audio files are read from your device, processed on your device, and written back to your device. We do not receive, store, transmit or review your footage. Technically we cannot, because it never leaves your computer.
Because everything runs locally, the service depends on your browser and hardware. See requirements for what is needed. We do not guarantee that any particular file, format, browser or device will work.
3. Accounts
You can use the editor without an account. An account is only needed to buy and spend credits. You must be at least 16 years old to create one. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. We may suspend accounts used for fraud, chargeback abuse, or attempts to break the service or other users' access to it.
4. Your content and copyright
Everything you import stays yours. You are solely responsible for having the right to use it. ReactionCut is a general-purpose tool, like any video editor: we do not host, distribute or review your material.
Reaction videos frequently include material owned by someone else. Whether that is lawful depends on where you are, how much you use, and what you add to it. Doctrines such as fair use or fair dealing are decided case by case, and nothing here is a promise that your video is legal. Platforms may still remove or demonetise it. If you are unsure, get advice before publishing.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use ReactionCut to produce or process material that:
- is unlawful where you are, or infringes someone else's rights;
- sexualises minors, or depicts real violence for harassment or glorification;
- is intended to deceive by impersonating a real person or organisation;
- harasses, threatens or targets an individual.
You also agree not to attempt to circumvent the watermark on free output, to reverse-engineer the billing checks, or to interfere with the service for others.
6. Credits, prices and payment
Editing and watermarked export are free and unlimited. Removing the watermark costs one credit per finished video. Credits are prepaid, do not expire, have no cash value outside the service, and are not transferable. A credit is deducted only when a video generation finishes successfully; a cancelled or failed generation costs nothing. Prices are shown in USD; other currencies displayed on the site are estimates and the amount charged is the one shown at checkout.

7. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend or discontinue parts of the service. If we discontinue it entirely, unused credits bought within the previous 12 months will be refunded. We may update these terms; the version in force is the one published here, and material changes will be announced on this page with a new date. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
8. No warranty
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. Generating the video happens on your machine and can fail for reasons outside our control: a full disk, a browser update, a corrupt source file, or a crash. Keep your original recordings until you are happy with the saved video.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim connected with the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for lost footage, lost profits, lost views, or indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.
10. Ending it
You can stop using ReactionCut at any time and ask us to delete your account by writing to help@reactioncut.com. How any unused credits are treated is set out in the refunds policy. We may end your access if you materially breach these terms.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of TODO: country whose law applies, and its courts have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of your own country, and you may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
